What a wonderful island treasure! Though its an island its easily accessible by a casueway from Barrington Passage to Cape Sable. The Island is steeped in history and the local museums are definately worth a visit to see the every day artifacts from life over 100 years ago and also the interesting shipfaring and fishing historical items. On Cape Sable you'll delight in the truly fantastic white sand beaches that seem to run for miles. We counted and there are no less than FIVE wonderful beaches to be enjoyed. The beaches are pristine, uncrowded and beautiful. Visit one of the wharves and talk to a local fishermen, you might even get some fresh fish for supper! The island has a very slow pace of life, and the people are very friendly and welcoming.

- Cons:However long you stay, its never quite long enough
- In a nutshell:Once you visit, you may never want to leave this place.
