This is the Railway Station. The train has not been stopping here since March 2005.
Too few people ? The village has been mostly abandoned. |
|  | The Shops In Town Are Closed Apart from one or two sunddry shops, most of the 10 or 20 shophouses seem to be closed.

Bridge Over Still Waters The railway track runs over the Bukit Merah Lake.
This is a wonderful view. It was almost 30 years ago when I got up in the early morning from the sleeping berth of the train. Looking out, I thought I was moving over the sea !
