Nightlife Spot: Aux Quatre Jeudis
By all accounts this is the place to be for the youngish ("ish" being the operative word!!) generation here in old Hull on Friday nights and weekends, especially during the summer when the terrace is in use and local DJ's provide the musical backdrop. Even on a relatively quiet mid-winter weekday evening the cafe has a certain buzz with an almost nightclub feel to it despite the abscence of the DJ's.
The cafe also doubles up as a multi-purpose arts space with regular exhibitions by local artists, occasional local bands and, during the summer, an open-air cinema - website has details of forthcoming events.

Dress Code: No particular dress code noticed on last visit except for lots of layers, but then it was minus 15 or so that night and by the time you've peeled to what would be a summer norm it would be time to start layering up again!!
