Small Town America Personified | Not looking at its best in this pic, but.....? |
Only the briefest in and out visit after a long day's drive was enough to have me saliviating. There is definitely something about Big Timber which makes me want to return and spend some time there, not necessariily for a long time, say 4 or 5 days, have a couple of days midweek hanging around the bars until I get to know a few people, then spend the weekend and see what makes the place tick.
That is my research project for this week, to see how I can get there without having to drive.
More to come................... |

Callavetta Sun Aug 12, 2007 14:56 UTC Hahahaha, I can't believe you are telling people to base themselves in Big Timber. You need to go back there and get this hole in the wall out of your system! Then get thyself back to Barstow Boy! :-) | icunme Thu May 11, 2006 19:01 UTC Really enjoyed visiting all these strange name towns - Wisdom? - maybe the smartest place in the US...... Will return again - great photos and tips. Ciao, Carol | whitecliff62 Sat Mar 18, 2006 09:02 UTC I love the name of the town, but boy it does look cold there. |
