...up to the table legs of those beachfront bars.. ...I reckoned I'd kinda like this place ;)
And disappointed I certainly wasn't (apart from the laundry room at the campsite not being open - bejeez I was starting to kick-up a bit after a week on the road).
This was a cracking little island with its beaches, its beachfront bars, the fact that it is not overly developed. There are of course all the tourist bits but subtly done, nothing, certainly in late May, to take away from the laid-back Greek charm and friendliness of the place.
Yep, when the sun is hot and the beers are cold, well worth a visit! |
