Now this a bit of fun - HeHe!! Of course, on the map, Frederiksberg looks as if it is part of Copenhagen but actually, my dear chaps, it is in fact an entirely seperate entity and so therefore deserves an entirely separate page all to itself.

Fredereriksberg used to be very much the poor sister of Copenhagen proper, the place where us proles were stuck so as we were in easy commuting distance of the shipworks ( PAY FOR YOUR OWN CLOGS SERFS!! - or was that Amsterdam?) But is now much gentrified, sending the proles further afield (which I suppose is why they are extending the Metro) - I am reliably informed that a loaf of bread in Frederiksberg can actually cost as much as 600DKK - and a beer even more!! HA~! Bread and Beer - let them eat cake I always say, and if the water isn't good enough then they can always make tea, HA, the proles deserve all they get ;)

I sort of missed the fast women, seeing as most of them were on bicycles, and the camera just wasn't up-to-speed, but georgous they all were, each and every one - so the pic from Intime is just a sampler - and strange, but true, the camera has caught it exactly as has my beffuddled memory bank!!

Fredriksberg, as its own city, has its own rather magnificent town hall here at the start of Smallegade, just down the road from the equally magnificent (in its own unique way) Den Smalle Pub!! The Town Hall is a relatively recent building having been completed in 1953 and the tower is supposed to be worth the ascent.

There is a certain slower pace of life here as opposed to Copenhagen as you might notice from this pic taken on a Friday lunchtime.
