Remove the telephone and the television from the rooms and you could almost be back in Victorian England, albeit with en-suite facilities. As with most of the hotels here in North Devon the emphasis is on relaxation and service and not with a hugely expensive price tag. As a place to chill out for a few days you could do far worse than stay here at The Bath and if you do want to do something more energetic then the location on the edge of Exmoor is an ideal base for walking and other outdoor pursuits.
Unique Qualities: Many of the rooms boast sea and harbour views, though these command a premium price in high season, but even then this is still a good value for money hotel. Dinner in the restaurant offers an extensive menu of local produce, freshly cooked to order, as well as, unusual for many hotels, various more "snacky" options for those wishing a simpler meal. With old-fashioned silver service and a decent wine list the Dinner, Bed and Breakfast rates are exceptional value for money.
PS the beer's not too bad either!
