This is a good mid-market, modern hotel with pretty much what you would expect for a city centre, including internet access. I only had a very brief overnight stay but found reception friendly and helpful, coffee available in bar - this is an ideal hotel if you are merely looking for a comfortable bed in a central but quiet location. I didn't really have a chance to use any of the facilities, only staying for one night, but no problems with leaving luggage until later in the day after checkout.
Unique Qualities: The main feature of this hotel is that it is central, within easy walking distance from Metro, the main shopping area, various bars and restaurants and most "sights".

For a cheap central hotel this place is fine. Don't expect huge rooms, but the accommodation is fine if all you need is a place to crash at whatever time you get in in the morning!! Shared facilities are more than adequate and spotlessly clean, staff are friendly and helpful. I even managed breakfast one day which was the usual cold meats, cereals, bread etc. but good and with decent coffee. Yep definitely stay here again.
Unique Qualities: The "Red Light" location made for some interesting interactions at 4 am (or whenever!) but was hassle free and there is a great little bar just round the corner on Reventslowsgade. Being right next to the railway station means that it is easy to find which is also a big plus at whatever time ;)

The last couple of times I've been here I've stayed quite happily at the Hotel Nebo and on this visit had intended doing so again. However Nebo couldn't do my whole stay and so a quick look around for alternatives was the order of the day and this place came up on Expedia at quite a reasonable price. It seems that the hotel itself has relatively recently been taken over by the Norlandia group who have spent quite a bit of money on upgrading it to fit firmly within its 3-star bracket. OK it was a tad more expensive than Nebo but I did get a reasonably-sized en-suite which for the extra 80 DKK was well worth it. Room was clean and comfortable, check-in and check-out simple and efficient, service from reception faultless. My only little gripe was the advertised internet connection wasn't wireless but required a modem box and cables (available from reception) and could have worked out expensive if not used judiciously. There is a computer for guest use in the lobby but I think you have to pay for that as well. All-in-all this is a perfectly good basic hotel if you can get it for a reasonable rate.
Unique Qualities: As with Nebo this is within literally a couple of minutes walk from the Central Station and so is easy to find no matter where you end up - which is of course a major plus for me when navigating back late at night: all I have to do is ask for directions to the station!
