Yes horrifying for I was there over Halloween, other than that this place looks awesome.
The old town with the typical Normandy houses , but especially the old port is displayed in every touristic magazine I was lucky enough to see it at night time and at sunrise, so check out my day-night photos.
Though the name of the town sounds french, it originates from the Viking who called it 'Honnefleu' |

ChristinaNest Mon Apr 3, 2006 17:57 UTC Great day&night photos! it looks like a very nice place. Thanx for visiting my pages, I still haven't built my London pages yet, I want to start with the less known places first. Greetings | Carmanah Sat Nov 5, 2005 17:43 UTC Wow... it's been a while since I was in Honfleur! That bridge was built the year after I visited. I too visited Honfleur in October - it does bring back memories. Thanks! | LoriPori Sat Nov 5, 2005 11:51 UTC Wonderful photos of Honfleur Christian. Hans and I were there two years ago and absolutely loved this place. So picturesque, medieval and romantic. Greets from Canada. Lori. |
