"Life in Abeche" Abeche by MiriamdaSilva

Pretty much the only things to do in abeche are
1. Work
2. Wander around the market
3. Go out for chicken
4. Go to an Aid Agency party
5. Volleyball on sundays at the french military base

The last 2 by far are the most entertaining althought the chicken is good too. Agency parties are usually any given Saturday, the place rotates and they are well attended. Often changing locations when the host kicks us out of one place. Sunday night is movie night and Friday night poker is in the making. So if you are in Abeche, really the only way to survive (haha) is to find and NGO and stay with them.
