Dead Horse Point State Park is on SR 313 18 miles off Hwy 191 near Moab and the Arches National Park.
Admission to the park is $7 for the day, you cannot use your National Park Pass here.
The main reason to visit this State Park is to enjoy the spectacluar overlook of the Colorado River and the canyonlands.
There is a self-guided nature walk around the visitor center and ten miles of hiking trails in the park.
