Embassies & Consulates in the U.A.E.

Whether you are coming to Dubai as a tourist, business traveller or immigrant, I believe it is important to be in touch with your respective embassy/consulate as they can help immensely with information about the country, security issues, business councils, etc. even before you travel.

All embassies are located in Abu Dhabi, whereas consulates can be found in Dubai. The only exception to this rule is the United Kingdom, which has 2 embassies in the UAE, one each in both Abu Dhabi & Dubai.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Booming economy, great weather for 8 months of the year
Cons:Strict visa laws, lots of "red tape", 3rd most dangerous roads in the world!
In a nutshell:Great for a holiday, very different if you live here...
