"My favourite place" Singapore by awladhassan

Singapore is a beautiful place I enjoyed being there so much. The cleanliness and order strike you, and the culture is amazing. Seeing different races and religions living side by side in harmony is wonderful in this present time.
I went to Sentosa island which needs a day to itself, and also to the night zoo.

vegetation

Having lived in Uk and the Middle East, I found the vegetation in Singapore very different to what I was used to, and the climate much more humid even than the Gulf. Although Singapore is said to be a 'concrete jungle' it is in fact a green city. Bukit Timah Nature Reserve alone has an area of 164 hectares. There are parks and trees planted along the roads as part of the 1967 green policy.

Sentosa Island is a place that must be visited. It is easy to spend hours walking around and enjoy the sights.
And the shopping! I'd heard of Tangs before i ever went there, but there was so much more to investigate, and my brother had several suits and shirts made in a short time by a local tailor.
