Egypt Warnings Or Dangers Tips by Christy~~Habibi

Just a little reminder to all visiting Egypt to be cautios of the tap water. I was sick for a about half a day from drinking the water. Some of the locals even drink bottled water. The tap water comes from the Nile and is cleaneds and filtered but it still is not the best to drink. At almost every restauarant that we went to they serve you bottled water. If you are traveling in the summer, keep yourself extra hydrated because it can get real warm real fast. Try some of the sugar cane juice sold by some of the street shops. It is a light green in color and very good. They put it in a clear small plastic bag, pop a straw inside and tie it off. It was a real sweet treat. Enjoy...
