Here's the web site forNatural Bridge State Park There's a trail map there also. Things to see in the area are the Minor E. Clark Fish Hatcherys at Cave Run north of the Park and Rowan County Rock Tunnel (Nada Tunnel) it's on Route 77 that is between Cave Run and the Natural Bridge Park. It's in the Daniel Boone National Forest. We spent the day making our way through the back roads and going on the trails at Natural Bridge. I would pack a small picinic if you're going to the top to see the natural bridge it's only 3/4 of a mile hike straight up the side of the mountain. We could have stayed and had a nice snack up there and rested for a half hour or so. These trails weren't for the young or the old ones. Just too steep and there is no railings around the top of the mountains so one could very easy slip off the edge and there's nothing to stop you fall to the bottom. We went in Nov. 2005 the trail is slick in some spots wear good hiking shoes or something to support your ankles from twisting and something with a rubber sole. Very nice no charge to get into the hatchery or the parks. There's a rest stop right were the parkway onto the road to take you to the park stop and get a map there. But don't forget to see the Rowan County tunnel and during the summer the fish hatchery is full of fish. Pros and Cons

Pros:A full day of sight seeing!
Cons:The trails are very steep not for the littleones or old.

Made it out for a nice hike through Natural Bridge yesterday. Totally dying to know what that little hostel/restaurant looking place is across the road. With the big sun on the door and loads of interesting cars in the lot and tents, etc.!! Do you know?

great place to visit. have been to ky many times. will visit again at xmas time or april next year (my son will study at uk next year)
