"cruise into this nice port Loved snorkeling here" Barbados by rw-bigfoot

we loved this island too, as you can see from the photos this was on the frommer'd list of great snorkeling spots well frommers book steered us wrong more than once this trip, you can see by the waves yes waves this is not the best snorkeling spot we went by the antilles wreck on the western side on the island and maybe for diving but not for snorkeling.

It's a nice beach lots of contruction going on we rode the bus service out to here very nice buses running all the time very fast......... did i say fast! We walked from here north to the next little town passed the golf course club on the right and then there is a little shopping strip mall on the right we stopped into one of the little shops, no one on it, and bought pepsi's and a pair of slip on shoes for my sore feet. there was some other big store that was twice the price in the same mall there just shop around this was a freindly bunch. Went to the nearest bus stop and back into town we went all the buses end up back at the bus station very organized we were never lied to about bus service and the people were very helpful and friendly here.

The bus ride cost .75 of their money or 1.50 us dollars for every time you got on the bus
also they had from the bus stop in town a circle bus that went all the way completely around the island and yes 1.50 for the ride as long as you don't get off you don't pay any more for the ride.
