UPDATE November 2008 We're so busy lately time has gone by so fast lots to talk about but it will all have to wait til another day :(

Back from cruising the southern caribbean in November for 11 days,
the trip to Mexico went well was there for 10 days in July.
We also went to VT santorini meeting via Vt'er mavl here's his letter to us with pictures;
hi guys! sorry this is late, just got home two weeks ago. spent another 6 weeks running around the mediterranean after santorini. forgive me if i took a few liberties in the storytelling. if you want anything changed, just let me know. santorini was great! we had a great time! just check out the rest of my pages to get an idea - though still in the slow and painful process of building them.Mavl's page Mavl's page2 best regards, miko

JULY 25 WE'RE HOME FROM MEXICO THINGS ARE BUSY HERE HAVE 5 BABY ALPACAS ARRIVING TODAY WILL BE BACK WRITING IN A COUPLE OF DAYS LOVE TO ALL RAY AND HOLLY
Farm update at the bottom of this page under LLAMAS
Llamas poo is like 'beans' and they all will poo in the same pile. Llamas are very clean animals and very quiet and sensitive. They have big huge eye lashes and will sneak up behind you and give you a kiss when they walk with you. They are very curious and usually cush (sit down) facing away from each other to stay 'on guard'. They will herd sheep and other small animals and it's been known they will herd young children into the barn also (lovingly : ). They like to keep order in the field. We had sheep but Cole was over excited when the evening came to herd them in and he would be in charge and get pushy about getting them in for the night. And sometime just herd them in during the day if the mood stricked him. So we got rid of all the sheep even the bottle babies so he wouldn't accidently step on one. But for the most part they will make wonderful alert calling animals . They will make a shrilling noise when a stray dog or other animal is around and will go stand between the livestock and animal but I wouldn't say they would attack one. We have good strong fence up so there is no dogs can get into our fields unless they would jump over it. And just the alarm call they make chases off preditors. They live to be 15-20 with no problem. Here's a site that offers the same tours as the cruise ships do in Hawaii at a lot better price GORABBITGO
Airline Toll Free Phone Numbers
LIve Air Traffic Control
Flight Delay Information - Air Traffic Control System Command Center
Here's a link about airplane seating for all the airlines check it out SEATGURU and FLATSEATS It has the passengers rate the comfort of the seats. Don't book your seats without looking over where you will be seated.

American Airlines best seats on a 767 are 17-H-J & on a 757 10F & 10A. On a 747 seats 67 K & 68 K these have extra leg room.

We fly stand-by alot and have had the engine seats with NO windows and the seats won't recline at all! What an awful flight that was. The only good out of it was no one else but some poor pilots hitching a ride home, and I just layed across three seats and rumbled to sleep back there the whole way.

Here's a link to a Toilet Test from Callavetta's page I couldn't take pictures of everyones toilet when traveling to post them but someone did take pictures. These are the real toilets of the world! And no you don't sit on them!

Here's a Kentucky farm picture (September 2006), I'm saddled and ready to go riding with the neighbor. Sarah is a Haflinger horse (the lighter colored one) and Mira is a Morgan horse she's the dark red one and Murphy you can barely see, he's just got his head in the photo in front of Mira. He's just the baby so he wasn't going with us on the ride.
Holly with the 'minis' Alpacas
We have 3 Llamas for the farm! 2 more females, it takes 350 days to have a baby llama! The females are -Mona is brown and Chantal is an appaloosa spotted llama. update we now have 5 more Alpacas all males
Bobby and Bobby Junior
This is Bobby picture taken September 2006, Ray found this little guy in a junk yard sooo Ray hauled him back home for Bobby a play mate. Looks like two peas in a pod to me, they are under the wheelbarrow that is under a bird feeder waiting for a little snack instead of going mousing for one! ohh here little birdie......Update on the kitties Bobby Ray the young one has decided he would rather live outside in the barn. So we see him out roaming around during the day his fur is so heavy now he has his winter coat on. Bobby senior is a house cat when I do get him to go out during the day he's back at the door within a few minutes wanting to get back in the warm house. Well he's still a good mouser in the house!Bobby Ray went and got nuetered this weekend (Feb. 10, 07) he was sleeply for a few hours then back to his self by the next morning. Go Bobby Go loves those mouses! He has a new love for the sheep he wants to watch every move they make.

Everything I need to know about life, I learned from Noah's Ark

1: Don't miss the boat.
2: Remember that we are all in the same boat.
3: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
4: Stay fit. When you're 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
5: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
6: Build your future on high ground.
7: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
8: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
9: When you're stressed, float a while.
10: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
11: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting...
