San Francisco

San Fran Bay from a ferry
I had soo much fun in San Francisco. I drove from Seattle, Wa to San Fran in only 14 hours. I would have flown but thought that driving would be a great expierience in itself. There was sooo much to do in San Fran that I never got bored. The best part of San Francisco is the "old time" feel it has. Buildings are still standing and not remodelled from decades ago. Everything is beautiful to look at. the water is pretty and golden gate bridge is awesome. I also took a ferry ride to Alcatraz island and went inside one the most unique maximum security prisons of all time.
Fishermans warf is awesome, busy and the food there taste great
Walking in San Fran will leave you with sore feet. The first two days I took no transit, just walked and walked. From Pier 1 to Pier 39, through Fishermans Warf and up to the shopping district. I could not walk at all by the third day
The worst thing about San Fran are the Hills....they are everywhere. I swear I climbed enough hills to combine the height of Mount Everest!!!!!
Old Buildings

Beautiful Buildings

I love the look and feel of buildings in San Francisco....they just amazed me

Alcatraz Prison

Glad I was never a criminal back in the day.....I would have hated to be locked up in here. The tour was awesome and cost aroud $20 U.S. which included the ferry ride to Alcatraz and a "audio" tour of the prison.

Ah this is the start of a nice page. But when my poor husband was in SF last year he was horrified to come across one homeless guy beating several types of *** out of another homeless guy with a steel bar as he was walking to the opera.
