My visit to Panglao Island will never be complete without passing by Pungtod Island. The first time that I set foot on this island, I knew that this island will be my idyllic place.
Pungtod Island is a privately owned island but anyone can go there, "prior approval/consent from the owner not required" The island has some trees and vegetation. The sandbars of the island is simply breathtaking. |
|  | THE BEST PLACE TO JUST SIT AND DO NOTHING Everytime I go to Pungtod Island, I always thought of not leaving anymore. I just sit there or walk around. I am lucky to see Pungtod Island during high and low tide.
During high tide, the island is good for swimming and during low tide, the sandbars appear and birds would come and perch thereon |
TREES IN THE SEA The whole island can be seen during the lowest of low tide. The small trees which were submerged during high tide will appear. | | |
