More than a travel guide, I would like to think of this page as a record of my travels. For most people those are probably the same, but the difference lies in how I write my stories with the chief aim of sharing my experiences, not necessarily to provide advice. Of course you could get tips too, based on what I've been through.

As I was saying, while it's not a travel guide, it could serve as one. I noticed how most information about China in general, and Liaoning in particular, are geared towards the Western perspective. As an Asian and a Filipino of Chinese descent, I think fellow Asians might find it interesting how I view the Chinese world.

I am staying in Tieling and will probably be here for about a year. Within that time, I am hoping to be more familiar with the place and the culture. This page will be devoted, then, to my life in Tieling City and hopefully, occasional travels in the surrounding cities like Shenyang.
