Clough is one of those 'don't blink or you'll miss it' villages. There is really not much there except a few shops, a restaurant and the remains of one of the many 15th century tower houses that are dotted around that area of County Down.
I drive through the town on my way to Castlewellen every month. It is a nice place to stop if you need to stretch your legs. However, I would suggest avoiding the place around 17 March and 12 July. |
