Getting TO/AROUND: The fastest and easiest way to get to or from Fiumicino Airport is the city train. It will take you to destination in half an hour and it costs € 5,00. You can buy its tickets anywhere, in stations or at newsstands as well. Forget buses or cabs or cars, it will take too much time, it will be more expensive and often less comfortable.

Getting TO/AROUND: Rome has two subway lines, other four or five city trains and thousands of trams and bus lines. It's pretty easy to reach every address starting from anywhere. The ATAC website will provide you information about public transportation and the VIA MICHELIN one will provide you information about streets and everything. Tickets cost € 1,00 and you can go anywhere within 75 minutes (only one trip in subway). My advice is to buy a weekly or monthly pass, they are very very cheap.

eileencat1 Wed May 16, 2007 03:17 UTC Wonderful Roma page! I love the Pellacchia bar on Via Cola di Rienzo for their ice cream too! Each time I am in Roma I make sure I go there at least two times! |
