If you are thinking to visit Rome in one only week, forget it. I mean, you can, but you will just waste time to watch those touristic places that made Rome famous all over the world. My advice is to spend like three or four days going to famous places and more than one week "living" in Rome. Rome's atmosphere is unique, romantic, comfortable, funny, lovely... If you are planning to visit Rome, my advice is to make friends there before you go, and once there to let them guide you through the city;: they will surely show you unforgettable places, small, incredible and hidden streets, they will really make you enjoy your time. Don't be scared to make friendships, and don't be scared to go around with people you don't know. Roman people are easy and secure, just avoid anyone else. |
