Restaurace u parlamentu is very pleasant place near Staromestske namesti. It offers good Czech food and beer for probably the lowest prices in whole area.

Favorite Dish: Moravian roast pork with potato dumplings and spinach is very good meal, but the most unusual and also very good is marinated beef in cream sauce. For those who are not about to experiment – roast leg of chicken would be ok.

    Oucky Doucky: Cafe/Antiquariat/Internet Cafe (I&V)

  • Restaurant Name: Oucky Doucky

Oucky Doucky is one of the cutest cafes we have ever visited. In fact it is cafe / antiquariat / internet cafe, and its walls are covered by bookshelves overloaded with old books.

The good thing about Oucky Doucky is that one could taste beer "Cerny Drak" ("Black Dragon") in it.

There is very unique place at Staromestske namesti – we have enjoyed spectacular views of Prague sitting on the beautiful viewing terrace on the roof of the Hotel U Prince. To complete the feeling, they also offer their cocktail bar, specialities from the kitchen and grill.

Although quite expensive, terrace U Prince should not be missed.

There is nice cafe / gallery near Emauzy. It is good place for a coffee-break on the way down from Vysehrad, and opportunity to see an exhibition of, in the most of the cases, some of young Czech artists.

The Cafe Citadela is located in Vysehrad, near Church of St Peter and St Paul. It is very pleasant place, especially on a nice summer day.

I enjoyed reading your knowledgeable and informative tips on the history, architecture and artworks of Prague. It's been a long time since my last visit to Prague, but I hope to go there again this year if I can fit it in.
