"Budapest SPA Again" Budapest Fovaros by jonbarb709

In 2004 we made our first trip to Budapest to the Danubius Thermal Hotel Margitsziget for the 3 week special SPA package.It was fantastic, if you read my other travel review you will see what I mean. Going back this time in July 2007 was even better. And probably only because we knew a little more. The price is still more than reasonable, under $3000 per person for 3 weeks (21 nights) two meals, transportation from New York and a pick up at the airport and best of all 15 SPA treatments per week. The Danubius Thermal is a fantastic hotel, the staff is excellent, the food is outstanding the surroundings are terrific. I don't think you can get a better price anywhere. Budapest, what can i say, its a great place to visit and the transporation system makes it easy to get around. We bought the transportation pass (train, tram, trolley, bus) and did not shedule any SPA treatments on Wed and Sat and those where our traveling days. Also if we got done early and since we had the transportation pass we would go into Budapest just to walk around. The trip was
