Retired, Retired and ready to travel.

by jonbarb709 - last update: Jan 9, 2006

Were Ready

We both retired March 17, 2000. Although we traveled alot before that, it mostly dealt with our jobs or we always had to go back to our jobs. Work seem to dictate our lives. I guess like a lot of people. Now and since March 17, 2000, its different. We try and plan at least 2 trips overseas a year, plus Hawaii, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon (family are there) and one or two places in the US. As long as the money holds out and as long as our health lasts, we will travel. Always looking for a good deal or an interesting place to visit.

This is exactly my idea too. One or two trips overseas , two towards Europe, one in Poland.Years run and slowly rate turn upside down. Happy travel!

Tell me more on your trip to Budapest. We checked out the Spa on the River cruise we took and really want to go back.
