"Peace - if you don't mind the tourists" Abel Tasman National Park by cehansen

Abel Tasman National Park Travel Guide: 54 reviews and 187 photos

Had a lovely week in the area, we missed most of the Christmas holiday rush, and enjoyed several days exploring the beaches and walks in the Abel Tasman National park.

the beaches are wide and golden, the water should be warm by January. Walking between the beaches on the Abel Tasman walk is fairly easy, and you can get picked up by boat too.

Kaiteriteri beach has lovely sand for small (or large) children to dig!
