I decided i would spend a day on my own no relatives or visitors
So when i woke the wednesday in between christmas and new year to a bright cold forsty morning .I put on or warm clothes and walking boots and headed for Keswick .
The drive up was pleasurable the motorway was quite till i arrived in Keswick the world and his wife must have had the same idea there was not a parking space to be had the place was packed .i found a place to park and don my walking boots and headed through the masses to the lake ,were i spent a couple of hours in the bright sunshine walking by the lake enjoying the views
