Nightlife Spot: Viking Bar

A busy spot on weekends and on any night during the legislative session (Jan-May). Large and open, it really gets hopping about 9PM when the Triangle empties out and everyone moves en masse to the Viking.
Karaoke in the large front area, dancing in the back, a martini bar in between and a pool hall upstairs.
Hadn't realized until this last trip that it is the place to be for the crew members off the cruise ships. All the passengers head to the Red Dog Saloon and the working folks here.

Nightlife Spot: The Triangle Club

Want to meet a great mixture of locals, legislators, and visitors, head to the Triangle. Busy from about 6 to 9 most nights and kind of the stepping off point to downtown Juneau's "nightlife".
Plain interior, small and smokey, you can see lobbyists working the crowd, legislators relaxing, or play their new electronic trivial knowledge game.
