Kalekoy (Kastro) Castle. and other Gokceada, Turkey Things to Do Tips

OK so it isn't the best castle in the world but it gives you some nice views across the surrounding coastline, bay and valley.
As far as I can find out, the castle! (rubble more like) is of Genoese origin and apart from the towers, some looking precarious, there is precious little else.

Address: Kalekoy, Gokceada.
Directions: As you are entering Kalekoy turn right and follow the Yakamoz motel and restaurant sign.
Park just past it and walk up past the Poseidon pension, turn left then right up the steps, past the tented cafe and you're there.
