Search for your hotel or just check where things are ISTANBUL INTERACTIVE MAP. New (YENI) map just introduced which is fast. Comes up with a satellite photo but will come up with a plain street map if you click on Harita on the top bar. If you have an address click on Arama at the top right side then under Ilce Adi the city district, normally Fatih, Eminonu or Beyoglu, then the street name Cadde/Sokak. Bina/Isyeri Adi is place name, Kapi Numarasi is the number ARA means show. No foreign language instructions as yet. Harita shows you individual places once you scroll down far enough. Not all hotels are on there so check street and street number and it should be enough.

Hotel Suadiye.: Anatolian quiet.

Have not stayed here but putting it here as it's one of the few hotels on this side of the city. Can't say it looks the best from outside but looks very good inside and is always fairly busy,when iv'e been walking past. Web site in Turk,English,German,French,Russi an and Chinese.
Good maps also on their page.
Unique Qualities: Great views of the Princes islands and very easy to get to from either airport,with the choice of taking the Havas shuttle from Ataturk airport to Bakirkoy,then sea bus to Bostanci then a quick taxi.Lots of good restaurants around the area if you don't want the hotel food.

Hotel Deniz: Great situation

Haven't stayed here but as there seem to very few hotels listed for the Anatolian (Asian) side i searched some out. All rooms have a/c,minibar,tv,24 hour hot water and fire alarms.Breakfast included. Nice restaurant with a view on the roof but there are lots of food options nearby. Hotel really stands out on the left (northern) end of Kadikoy but there is a fair amount of traffic in the area. Single room is 130 Ytl Double 150 Ytl Triple 165 Ytl Map on web page under konum.
Unique Qualities: The restaurant has great views for sunset over the Bosforus and being next to lots of ferries,buses,dolmuses and Haydarpasa station is very handy for travel.

Not stayed here but as there were very few hotels listed on this side of the Bosforus,i went and searched for some to add. Name means pier and it's next to it as well as the buses,dolmuses,ferries and Haydarpasa station. Single rooms are 90 Ytl Double 120 Ytl Breakfast included.
Unique Qualities: Close to transport links and a great view of sunsets over the Bosforus.

If you're wanting to stop on the other side of Istanbul, then you can't get more central Kadikoy than here. Room prices are Sea view 125Ytl Street view 100Ytl web site seems not to be working at present. Entrance is up the side street on the right of the hotel as you look at it.
Unique Qualities: Handy for all transport, easy to get to and nice views across to the Golden Horn and sunsets. Good views from the restaurant on top.
