Came here as it was on my way back to Istanbul and was worth a look.Well to be honest didn't know what to expect and it isn't mind blowing.Seems a bit of a jumble of old walls,all built on top of each other.Hard to imagine what was there. Since i visited in 1995 it has probably changed a bit for the better. I caught the local dolmus which passes the site and is cheaper. MAP HERE with some information. |
|  | Just visited again after 12 years, a little bit more work has uncovered some more but overall not much has changed.
Entrance is 10 Ytl per person.

Opens at 08.30 shuts at 19.00.
Depending on what route you take, the ruins are either 20 or 30 km from Canakkale. From the main highway it's 4 km from the signed, turning off. |
