Good shopping here

Cozumel is a Mexican island just off the mainland. There's lots to do here. Tons of great shopping and if you can haggle, you can get some good discounts. I got some jewelry here for my mom that wasn't pricey at all.

Cozumel boasts great places to eat, and once you step away from the town, offers great beaches and some ruins worth checking out.

Remember they accept American dollars here but try and remember how much pesos are (about 10 pesos to one US dollar apx).

Pros and Cons

Pros:Good bargains, good food, never have to travel far to see something cool
Cons:Testy vendors, feels a bit too touristy at times
