Fighting the serpent

Buda and Pest are 2 towns divided by the Danube River to make up the magetic city of Budapest. My first trip I had nothing but the utmost admiration for the people, the culture, and the history of this city.
If I had one word to describe Budapest it would be " Real " . Folks are truly genuine here in the sense that they don't smile just to smile. Infact there are alot of hard faces and you know they've been through alot. They are very warm and welcoming, helpful and friendly and most of all generous. This city is doubtlessly astounding.

Csbay

This is one of the many friendly people we encountered on our visit. Csabay was our neighbor. He had a heart of gold and treated us like family.

Eraser cars

Great cars. Cute and pracitcal.

What a great page...loved the food tips and interesting about the underground caves and baths. Pity about the taxis! Take care...

Loved the food info, Zan. A lot of those dishes looked a bit like "southern cookin'". : ) I'd like to get a quaff of that Banana Nut Bread Beer, too. If you ever learn of a source, let me know. Greetings from Florida.
