    • The bullet-scarred wall, and above the bullet holes there is a plaque dedicated to the memory of British-trained Czech and Slovak paratroopers who assassinated Reinhart Heindrich in Prague in 1942. The plaque was only placed there in 1992!
    The Church of St Cyril and St Methodius is a russian orthodox church, and is locked up most times and is only open when there is a service on. Below in the crypt is a museum to the Czech Commandos who died rather than surrender to the Nazis.

    • About an hours train journey away is the old town of Kutna Hora, which is famous for its Bone Church. I was interested to see this place as I had seen Ewan McGregors motorbike adventure 'The Long way Round' stop here, and as I find this sort of stuff interesting it was a must see for myself. The town itself is great with many old places of interest to visit and wander around.... The Trip there and back shouldn't set you back more than $12
