So much to do and so little time. This is a shopper's paradise, lots of great deals. If you are traveling with someone that does not like to shop there are little bars and restaurants all over the place where you can leave them and you can go in the surrounding area and do your shopping.
Split is a city that lives at a slow pace, it's like every day is a holiday there. The squares, restaurants and cafes are crowded without the hustle and bustle of normal large cities.

Very nice bar located inside the castle, it is located right outside of Hotel Slavja. Very relaxing and friendly atmosphere. When I was there, there was a group of people singing the whole night and the whole crowd joined in. I would definitely recomend you go spend an evening there.

Former ancient Roman settlement of Salona, among the largest on the Adriatic. It is partially excavated, you can view the temple, Roman baths, Amphitheatre, ancient Christian churches and town walls. You better put on your walking shoes If you want to visit these ruins. Absolutely beautiful.
