It may no longer be the capital of Brittany (Bretagne), but it is still my favorite city in France. I was lucky enough to study abroad in Nantes, France & met some great people that have become very good friends. This is a very friendly city & you won't find many tourists here since I have yet to find little if any mention of Nantes in the guide books, but there is still plenty to see & do here in one of the largest cities in France.

I've never been inside this theatre, but we walked past it numerous times. I'm sure it's beautiful on the inside. more travel advice
