My wife and I are regular visitors to this beautiful country,and, like other visitors,we mistook their polite and helpful,friendly manners to be a way to get some 'tourist money'.
THAT was before we realised that this is how Turkish people really are,as well as being a country with one of the lowest crime rates in the world.( check it out-www.nationmaster.com/country/crime/tu/Crime)...and "no".I'm not in the pay of the Turkish Tourist Board !
We've been to several countries,but now we don't go anywhere else,why go all over when we've already found a place and a people who can't be surpassed !
Try learning some Turkish,it's great fun and the waiters etc.will always help with pronounciation...the Turks
really appreciate an attempt at their language,and it is'nt as hard as it may seem...Allahaismarladik !
