Heat Wave in the Keys

by paulapes - last update: Jul 12, 2003

Help for the sweltering temperatures!
My family and I arrive in Key West and find that they are having record high temperatures, in the high 80's. Hmmm, that doesn't sound too comfortable.....but then we arrive at our accommodations for the five days we will be there and decide that things aren't all that bad after all! (see pic)

Only visited Key West for a day, from Miami, what a wonderful, magical place, hope to go back one day. Glad you had good time.

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay in Windward Park. Island Oasis or Southern Wind as it is now called is located right next door to my vacation home in Key West. Key West is a great vacation destination and Windward Park is a great place to stay!

You're right--Key West sure is different. I especially liked your picture of the car decorated in shells!
