I went down south to the state of Parana, and saw the rather surreal scenery of the Iguaçu Falls, where the earth seemed to have created a big hole to show us the splendor of 275 waterfalls, all in one place. It also has the Itaipu Dam, the world´s largest hydro electric power plant, which I saw on land and on a trike, while flying high over Itaipu Lake one late afternoon. Foz, a city where days are slower, weather is warmer and so are the people. Foz do Iguaçu: A city worth going to at least once in your lifetime. |
