Boh tea plantation
I spent 3 nights in Tanah Rata in the Cameron Highlands and it was gorgeous!!

Both days were spent trekking up the nearby hills and visiting tea plantations. The treks were quite difficult for a novice trekker like me but very rewarding when we made it to the top!!

The town is pretty quiet, has 1 pub The Ranch where pool is the main attraction but you better be good because it's winner stays on and the locals are pro's.

A highlight was Ye Olde Smokehouse an English Tudor pub in Malaysia!! complete with a red telephone box across the road, I felt like I was at home sat in the beer garden with a well earned pint!!

I stayed at the Twin Pines lodge a backpackers haven where the landlord Mr Yeke introduces eveyone when they arrive (he has an amazing ability to remember names). It did help break the ice and I met some great people there.
