I stayed in Georgetown for 1 night on my way to the highlands so don't really know much about it.
We arrived at 6pm and left at 8am. A funny thing happened though we didn't realise there was a time difference between Thailand and Malaysia and nearly missed our coach to the highlands......d'oh!!
We stayed at a place called Love Lane Inn (nice name), the landlady was full on so glad it was just for the 1 night.
Had a nice nice Indian meal though and a few beers in a bar where you can write on the walls (I know... it's allowed so doesn't seem that much fun)
