Weston-Super-Mare Travel Guide: 57 reviews and 83 photos

The wide sweep of Weston Bay has miles of clean sandy beach, traditional seaside attractions and beautiful countryside.

Ideally situated on the coast at the heart of the West Country, Weston is perfectly placed for getting out and about. Wherever you go you’re never far from the sea. The safe, sandy beach goes on for miles. Relax as you soak up the sun or take a leisurely walk along the promenade.

Feeling energetic? There are boat trips and watersports, and all the fun of the fair on the award winning Grand Pier. Just a short step away from the seafront is the centre of town, with big high street names, small side street specialities, indoor and outdoor markets and a host of fairs. You can also sample dishes from virtually every corner of the world from traditional fish and chips to a Greek candle lit meal for two.

The pier has a great variety of amusements and the local shopping centre has a good range of shops to keep you entertained into the night, where the pier amusements and clubs of the town really open up.

Book your accomodation well in advance though, as in the summer it can be packed city..
