Thanks Ophir for "Disney-and" castle's tip! May be Ludwig II decided to build his castle after visiting Disneyland somewere (in Paris for instance...)?
If I am not mistaken that castle in Schwangau was the great inspiration of the famous castle we see in Disneyland. ONE SCORE TO GERMANY!;)
