The asian side of Istanbul is a very beautiful place.
Not too many attractions like in the old city or the european side but very beautiful , cheaper prices , modern places and less touristic.

The trip up the bosphorus to the black sea is very relaxing trip and i think it is a must for a tourist but sometimes the problem is time.
If you will take the tourists' boat it will cost you 30 usd but if you will take the locals' boat it will cost 7.5 YTL.

Galata tower is not off the beaten tip - you should go and climb the tower for the beautiful view !.
You can see the tower from many places in town.

Ortakoy is on the shores of the bosphorus very close to the first bridge to the Asian side.
You can boat from there or just enjoy the Ortakoy Mosque , Dolmabahce palace.

You can see Rumeli Hisari on your left side while you on the bosphorus boat trip.
This is a big fortress that was built in 1452 by a sultan called Mehmet the 2nd (Muhamed the second).
