Eilat is a small city on the south of israel located on the shores of the red sea with view to Jordan and Egypt.
A lot of tourists come to Eilat and of course a lot of israeli people that want to rest.

Eilat , for a lot of the Israeli people , is something like outside Israel in Israel.

Maybe because it is far from the center and the southest city in Israel , maybe because it close to Egypt and Jordan or maybe because it is only sun , lovely beaches , total relaxation , hotels , restaurants and tax free.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Quiet , Fun , Far from Everything
  • Cons:The Southest city in Israel , far from the center
  • In a nutshell:Relax , Enjoy Your Stay

I can't wait to finally see historic places like this. The view of the dead sea from the fortress is amazing.

Spent 5 months in the Sinia in '79. Worked in the port, rented rooms to backpackers, washed dishes at the Shulamit, remember the city was built by prisoners and when completed they were set free and some still live in old Eilat.Tim
