The Golan Heights , mount Hermon and the area

by ophiro - last update: Aug 27, 2005

Why are you using this location ?

Mount Hermon

I will use this location to write about the area called "Golan Heights" , mount Hermon and the area because VT has a problem wit hthe 67 war and they don't have mount hermon on their database and a lot of the places in the area which are in Israel still located in Syria in their database.

So - what is this area ?

One of the most beautiful areas in Israel is the Hermon mountain and The golan heights (Ramat Ha'golan).

We had 2 great days in this area with the entire family for the birthday of my Wife's grandfather.

The Hula nature reserve
The Area was (and still) important for the Israeli army during the wars and from time to time the Hizballah are shooting rockets to the area and to Qiryat Shmona.

Tank memorial
I think you should enjoy this place because of the amazing view , the relaxing atmosphere , the nature and because it is Israel.

Good food and a very pretty natural area! Still a full house on the ski hill, too ;-]
