This is going to be short and sweet. We live on a farm in the southwestern corner of Virginia, near West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee and North Carolina. Ours is an area mostly of family farms of many generations and national forest, with great fishing in the Holston, Bluestone and New Rivers. We rarely travel far, owing to the fact there are animals that need to be cared for, but we travel once or twice a week when the weather cooperates for small and large mouth bass fishing and the constant hunt for muskie. We meet lots of people that are traveling the App. trail and are not far from where I81 meets I77. Great place to live, great place to visit, but around here you need to know where you're going or you WILL get lost, and I do mean LOST... and forget the cell phones. In these mountains, you're better off hollering!
