I stayed in the city before heading out into the Languedoc for a weeks walking and it is an amazing place. It is just like being in a fairy tale. The town gets full up with tourists during the weekends as its a big tourist site for those living in France as well so try and stay in the week.
If you stay in the city itself you get to enjoy it before and after the tourists arrive! It is at its best in the early morning and late evening! |
