Mandurah is a small tourist town on the coast about 1 1/2 hours drive south from Perth. (Zoom out form this map to see where itisi in relation to Perth and Rockingham http://www.whereis.com/whereis/getMap.do?ref=homeMap)
The foreshore area at Mandurah is a delightful place to spend to stroll around. My husband and I come here often. There's usually a few pelicans, and in the summer there's often small jazz/blues bands playing at the weekends.
The foreshore park runs all along the estuary, and dolphins often come close in and can be clearly seen.
There were three dolphins here, honestly!
They are so hard to catch on camera! You can just see the splashes where they went back down into the water.
There's lots of interesting shops and things to look at.
- In a nutshell:Delightful tourist town

Hi there. Lovelly photos!! We are planning on moveing to Mandurah hopefully beginning of year. . Any more photos? Thanks again. Corrie
Had friends who lived at Mandurah, never got there for a visit. I know how hard it is to capture Dolphins, eventually got a part of one on photo when at Tweed Heads.
Excellent restaurant tips, Like your photo of that pelican.
I got to talk to my son on the phone for the first time in 6 months, which was very nice. But, it sucks that it was 6 months. How are you doing?
nice tips!
Thanks for stopping by the pages Lesley. My Egypt pages are a work in progress, so much to write and, so much that others have already written. Homer
Very interesting as usual, enjoyed browsing. Az
nice pictures, nice town. Didn't realize pelicans were so big, i learn every day here. So many towns all over the planet have become daytrip destinations - running out of days it seems. >~!
Nifty words and pics in here Lesley. I agree about not encouraging salmonella spreading seagulls.... In my HMSO Nutella is far tastier.
